Added cream cheese to the ganache to make it firmer and sprinkled it with rock salt to cut the sweetness. I used Inca rock salt coz it's pink and pretty, like tiny rose quartz crystals hihihi

Had to use an exacto knife to cut out the letters. At least the rubber letters had double-sided sticky backs; all I had to do was peel and stick the letter to the wood thingy that came with it.

The Fray was AMAZING!

I mean, they still are -- and will most likely forever be haha!

The house wasn't packed but you know what? It only gave Isaac more room to run around, high-five people and climb up to the nosebleed sections of the house hahaha

My favourite moment of the night though was when Joe took the mic and sang Ungodly Hour.
The thing is, I was hoping he would do Rainy Zurich but dear God, Ungodly Hour was out of this world unreal! I just stood there, listening.
Just listening.
Jacq and I were talking about how some artists draw their songs from their hearts or their egos but Joe? From the soul really.

This concert blindsided me. I'm still reeling.

I apparently have the talent ...

I've always been the go-to make up person at the office. They've asked me to do everyday looks for the trainers to avant garde faces for a party. This is the first time I've been asked to do yucky zombie make up and since I've never done it before, I had to practice.

I had to check if what I had in my head translated to RL.

I think I did a pretty good job with the fleshy, yucky forehead.

That's padding glue and hershey's cocoa by the way. LOL

Trying out a new medium

Found a box of oil pastels while clearing out one of the boxes of office supplies and decided to experiment.

I can't draw or paint for shit but I do know how to colour so I decided to dupe one of the Siquijor sunset pictures.

Strange dreams ...

... make me do strange things.

I've been having really disturbing dreams lately.
Recurring theme. Recurring characters.
I feel that it's the Universe's way of telling me not to sleep so much.

So this morning, when the Universe decided I should be up at 6am on a Sunday, I got out of bed and painted. Of course, I use the term loosely. See, 1. I don't paint, and 2. I don't paint.

But I did anyway.



First waterdoodle ever.
I think I'll stick this on my parents' fridge haha.

I tried again this afternoon but I haven't rinsed the brush yet (coz you know, I didn't think I was going to want to paint again .. or ever) so I used an emery board.
Slathered paint on, and dragged it across the page LOL


I should just stick to painting my nails.
